Well, as we can see, IGN people are considered "unbiased" and "reliable" only when they praise PS3. Now that they did not put it higher in their list, they are considered anti-Sony. Get a grip, guys.
Actually, you can take any popular/praised game and say it's overrated. And, in a way, you'll always be right, as there is no way to objectively determine which game is over-rated.
In no particular order:
- LBP - the idea sounds great, but at the end of the day it's just a very simple platformer with a level editor; it's cool that people like it, but I find it pretty boring
- Bioshock - boring once you get used to the excellent setting and atmosphere; too many looooong fights
- Killzone 2 - the engine is a technical marvel wasted on a generic shooter with totally forgettable characters and bad controls; I didn't like the art direction also - only the d...
As owner of both X360 and PS3, I can say that NXE and XBL are just more streamlined. You can tell that MS is a software company and Sony is more hardware-oriented: while PSN looks slick, it's far less convenient and not as intuitive as Live.
Another fact: you're constantly trolling in X360 news. Why so insecure?
Aaaand we've just had the worst X360 conference ever. I wasn't expecting much and yet I still am dissapointed...

@jleack: Jesus, dude, enough with the constant spin and denial. Sony didn't leak Slim? We knew the exact price, box art and the look of the new SKU weeks (in case of the box - months) in advance. How come you're unable to enjoy some good Sony news like a gamer without spreading BS and denying even the most insignificant Sony mistakes?

People who played with Natal say it actually works. According do several sites, "Natal Burnout" has no lag and is very precise. Sony didn't let people use their dildos, so you have to take their word that it's working. For all we know, their presentation could be 100% smoke-and-mirrors. So you have regular people that actually tried Natal vs. Sony's word. Yeah, tough choice, isn't it?
On top of that, Sony is rushing the hell out of their dildos. They are behind Natal ...

@Above: Epic's platformer was a joke, I agree. It was wrong time and place to show an XBLA game. Same goes for Joyride and Sony's ModNation Racers (or what's it called).
I'd say MS won people over with the way they handled their conference. They were extremely confident, they were well-prepared and they were creating a lot of positive buzz, obvious even to a non-gamer.
First of all - no numbers, charts or other boring BS. A positive surprise. People interested in such things know it all already, no need to repeat.
Second - celebrities. Just being on stage is enough to wow people. Paul McCartney might be hammered, but he's fvkin...
